About
A cryogenically-processed lupulin concentrate of Cascade, separating resin and oil from the vegetal matter. It carries Cascade's classic grapefruit, floral and light spice profile at roughly twice the concentration, so a given aroma impact costs about half the weight. Because the bract is removed it also carries a lower load of polyphenol and of the amylolytic enzymes behind hop creep — a real reduction, not an exemption. Alpha varies by lot more than for pellets, so read the packet rather than working from a nominal figure.
